As opposed to Duncan's loud and boisterous antics Śhyām is calm and calculating. The two make an almost eerie contrast in that manner, the wolf jesting and quick-to-laugh or to get in a playful bout while his partner watches everything passively. They seem complete and stark opposites at a glance; Śhyām as quiet as Dun is loud. That is, until you manage to get the wolf angry and he goes suddenly as still and 'calm' as the Tolgoth and both are staring at you with the self-same expression.
