Kia scratched the little pink woobat's chin, she had been asked by Tori to teach Primrose some moves if she could, and the girl was totally professional; besides the fact the little bat was so danged soft she just wanted to cuddle the little thing. The desert felt like a furnace, even deep into the night as it was presently. Rocks cut their way up into the sky, black against the endless sea of stars that paled the sky so far from civilization. wind rustled the few plants hardy enough to survive here, the sound like dozens of rattlesnakes in the sands, coiling and hissing rasping scale on scale in the night.
