Tsillah smiled faintly, patting the huge reptile's neck as she listened to the goings on around them. A flicker of purple fire lighting the area as she worked, painting the rook's stripes with the glowing paint carefully. "Ready to put on a show, Băieţ?" She asked, pulling the hood on her cloak up and giving him a grin, "Băieţel ,încăleca." She ordered, nodding when the roop obediently lifted a leg, offering her a step up to his broad shoulders. One of his heads curling back to ensure she was safely settled before he dropped his foot again. "Good boy, multumesc." She whispered, carefully moving to straighten the 'mask' on the other head, ensuring the wolf-like armor was settled properly over his horns and adjusting the rest of his tack until she was satisfied the ' Orthrus' would go over well enough. She swallowed, then loosed her breath in a measured sigh, nodding and whispering 'voala' to the drak as they moved toward the gate.
A thick mist filled the air as the stonedrak cooled the air around them, rolling out into the field as if it were alive and settling into the bones of judges and onlookers alike. Curling around legs and limbs and leaving goosebumps in its wake as the huge white creature moved onto the field, veiled almost completely in the dense fog he had created. Slowly will-o-wisps of purple flame sparked to life around them, illuminating the paint like a black light as his second head rose with a bellow that shook the ground. His rider didn't react, head down as the drak moved into the arena with a deceptively smooth, collected gait. Mist streaming forward with every step and the thirteen wisps of unnatural flame dancing around them. When they reached the middle of the field her head snapped up and his wings flared, framing them as her fangs shone in the lite, silvery wings tearing out from under the cloak she wore and eyes glowing red as the 'hellhound' roared again, the flickering candle light illuminating every scale on the white armor, four bi-pupiled blue eyes all but glowing as he studied the judges. A fresh wave of frost tumbling from his maw as the demonic woman upon his back grinned at the judges. Her skin a bluish white under the haunting flames, "I am Hel, flagð and daughter of Loki; Lady of Niflheim. My mount is Orthrus, brother of Cerberus, and we bid you well, mortals." She purred, slipping into the accent so near her native tongue easily. A hand stretching foreward and with a gesture ice crept over the table before the judges, and her smirk widened, "Mind you, however, that Hel's Frost not chill your bones, lest you join us on the ride Back come the morrow." She warned with a haunting laugh, ducking her head again with one final sneer at the crowd, ice crackling over the fences toward the gathered crowds and she noticed several people jerking back from it as they disappeared into the darkness once more.
Laughing and leaning forward to give the drak's heads a good rub-down as she deemed they were fare enough away to break character. Nearly falling off the rook's back as Sūtaḫ appeared, the blue calico leaping atop the 'free' head and Băieţel went cross eyed looking up at his familiar. The girl scooping the tom up and draping him in her arms like a baby, rubbing his belly until the mismatched eyes slid shut. Shifting until she was lounging between his wings, trusting the white rook to take them back to camp safely. Entering the competitions had been a good idea, they had already gotten a beautiful Thalicum from the candy hunts and she was excited to learn more about the breed, much less enjoying the holiday. Daughter of Loki indeed, the mischief and darkness of the Norse Trickster were certainly alive and well tonight, and there were some days; especially a world away from persecution, that it paid to be dhampiric. The elf laughed again, scratching thy Myrow's ears as a chorus of oohs and a few gasps sounded from the ring. "When black cats prowl, and pumpkins gleam; The shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen, voices whisper in the trees, "Tonight! Tonight, is Halloween!" She intoned, grinning again as a few leaves fell toward them, and the tom was instantly off batting at them. "And many tricks and treats await indeed, no?" She asked the drak, hugging the head that curled back to nuzzle at her.
