Small, stocky rectangular cats. Very squared bodies and decent muscling for such a small breed.

Dense and long the pelt consists of four layers. The base coat is a dense downy layer of roughly one inch that never sheds and traps almost all of a fliff's body heat. This 'peach fuzz' layer even covers the inside of the fliff's ears, making them excellent in cold weather. Above this is a layer of sleeker down, followed by an "oil coat" that keeps moisture from penetrating into the down layers. Overtop of all is the silken main coat.

Small and round, with petite muzzles and huge eyes.

Overlarge and highly refractive their eyes are half form and half function. The wild ancesors of the Fliff were night hunting cavern-dwellers, and on domestication they were bred to have even larger eyes to enhance their appeal and 'kitten' qualities. 

The Fliff can see in minuscule amounts of light and are still excellent nocturnal predators.

Feet: 

Large, heavily furred, and with a shocking 'splay' the webbed paws of a fliff act as snowshoes and keep the cats well above any terrain other creatures would sink into.

Tiny, silken furrballs... or excellent hand-warmers.

Playful and affectionate the fliff will laze with owners so long as it's getting some form of attention, breaking only if a bout of play stirrs it, and then returning once the fun is through for more loving. They don't much care if this attention comes from people, other cats, or even other animals.

Fliff can participate in any discipline your average housecat can, though training can take somewhat longer due to their tendancy to loose focus if an oppertunity for a play-bout comes up. Once one is attentive however they're quite speedy at learning new tricks and tasks.
